a day in the life
Posted on October 29th, 2012
Thanks to Aaron at Commoner Films who put this little diddy together.
It’s a quick little vid that shows some of my daily duties. It’s able to be embedded, the code is available on the vimeo site.

What a beautiful representation of all that you’re about. What’s the track Rohan? Good job all.
Great video. I’ve got a lot of respect for what you do. You’ve got to be one of the coolest people I’ve never met. I’ll definitely be picking up a copy of the book.
A man who never take off hiss jacket
your life looks fantastic, kind of pension in heaven place, really nice
Great video – I checked out your book in the store last week. Come this payday it’ll be mine! And I just love your dog – it looks so happy.
well that’s bloody gorgeous. I sadly missed your chat with joel salatin but I’m visiting here all the time. love what you’re doing. we’re trying to do it too, as much as we can for city folk.
Nice. Really enjoy your site. I’ve shared with other like-minded people as well. Very inspiring.
Thanks

Lovely. He captured the look and feel of your blog, book, and life beautifully. Wonderful stuff, Ro.
Great little promo video. About the King Ropes hat: I’m in Sheridan all the time so if you want a couple of caps on me…
I wouldn’t say no! I love those two hats of mine!!
‘s’lovely.
lookin’ forward to the feature length.
Love this Rohan and Kate, just as beautiful as the smokehouse video! Love the music too.
Hi Rohan, I’ve been reading through you blog over the past month or so and really enjoying it. I’m very much attracted to your lifestyle and working slowly towards something similar, myself.
This video is terrific!
I’m curious though, about why you’ve taken the bulk of your archives down. I’ve been slowly trawling through them on my daily public transport commute and I was really disappointed to see them mostly gone yesterday.
Anyway, keep fighting the good fight, mate.
They should all be there. I looked and they seem to be there. What browser are you using?
I was doing the same thing as Nancy – just casually perusing through your history trying to catch up as i came a bit late to your blog. I’ve started getting the dreaded 404 message as well (admittedly using chrome or IE at work).
I think the “NOOOOOOOO!” echoed around the hills. Lunchtime won’t be the same without it! Bugger – now i’m going to have to go outside.
How am i now supposed to pretend that my lettuce tomato and cheese sandwich (smeared with some hot mustard) was hunted down on a cold VIC twilight then stripped down and cooked with bacon over an open fire?
Sorry, was offline for a few days. I have used Chrome, Safari and IE on your site to check. Still no dice this morning, which makes for sad times. August 14, 2012 is as far back as the blog now goes.
I found out what the problem was. All old posts had been trashed somehow. They’re all back online now.
Sorry!
You’re a good egg, Mr Anderson.
Love the video. But – I really have to ask, sorry, can’t keep it contained – do you alway keep your jacket on when cooking? I seem to remember you did that, too, in the smokehouse video. I would combust! Putting jackets aside: I love your book. Greetings from freezing Germany.
Funny! It was a freezing day when they did filming and I couldn’t be bothered taking off such a warm jacket!! Our house is freezing and this winter has been particularly cold!
great video rohan!
Thanks Alex!
How Beautiful I shall Post to my places
