A neat little breakfast stew using the most sustainable red meat in Australia. I added some home grown garlic, chilli, onion and zucchini. A few cups of last summer passata, a tbsp of smoked paprika and a handful of pine nuts. Served with toasted ciabata rubbed with my garlic and a garnish of fresh parsley from the kitchen garden. And it was breakfast….a mans breakfast to satisfy me prior to fly fishing the river all day. And for those wondering…..yes I caught a lovely brown trout around one pound in weight. A happy lad indeed.
